Lovozero tundra (Luyavrurt) is the second largest mountain range in the Murmansk region. Some peaks of the mountains ascended more than 1000 m in absolute height above the surface of the Umbozero and Lovozero lakes, over the adjacent plains with an abundance of hills, small lakes and swamps. Tourists visit Lovozero tundra in winter and summer. This is facilitated by the convenient location of the area and good access from the railway. In winter, tourists come here from the Khibiny, crossing the Umbozero, and in the summer, leaving their kayaks on Lovozero, they make hiking trails in the mountains.
Lovozero tundras have the shape of an almost regular horseshoe, in the center of which the slopes of the mountains drop off to the Seydozero with sheer walls. This area is characterized by the absence of pronounced peaks and passes. The main heights are located in the western part (up to 1120 m), to the east the heights gradually decrease (up to 400 m). The rivers of the Lovozero tundra run down radially from the outer slopes of the massif into a swampy lowland and from the inner slopes into the central depression of the Seydozero. All rivers are short, fast, full-flowing, have many rapids and waterfalls.

Forests rise to a height of 300-450 m (pine forests up to 260-300 m above sea level). Above is a belt of birch crooked wood. It got its name because of the originality of the growth form of the trees that compose it: at birches, sometimes several fantastically curved trunks leave from feeding.
The upper parts of the mountain slopes (above 450-600 m above sea level) are occupied by mountain tundra.
